We have our first meeting and confirm the wedding details I explain legal requirements associated with your marriage Discuss details of the ceremony - including readings, music, special wishes e.g. candle ceremony, rose ceremony, cultural input Discuss an alternate venue if it is an outdoor wedding

On Acceptance of my Services as your Celebrant

Pay the Booking fee - this secures the booking and is non refundable Complete and sign the Ceremony Agreement Complete, sign and lodge Notice of Intended Marriage form with me Provide original documents as discussed e.g. Birth Certificates, Decree Absolute I will give you a comprehensive package of information to help with ideas and choices for ceremony

At least 1 month and 1 day prior to the wedding

Ensure that the Notice of Intended Marriage is completed and lodged with me

3-4 Weeks before the Wedding

Provide me with a draft of your wedding ceremony by email or fax Arrange a time for our next meeting usually 1-2 weeks before the ceremony Confirm the names of the Witnesses

1-2 Weeks before the Wedding

Rehearsal/final meeting at venue (if convenient), or another suitable venue Full settlement of Fees due at this time Sign a declaration stating that you know the person you are to marry and there is no reason that you know of why the marriage cannot take place Confirm the wedding details – time, date, venue address, parking arrangements Confirm table is available for the signing of the documents
